I lived in Warminster in the early 70's. Moved away but still feels the place has a hold on me?? Visit regularly as I have friends still about. I was widowed earlier this year after 34 years, finding it hard, but have two great girls and lovely friends for support. Thinking of moving back but wondering if there is a relevant social scene for me and if so would love to know about it.

Hi everyone,
I need help please!!!
I'm an employee of M&Co and i'm trying to trace the history of the building (55-59 Market Place)
When was it built, was it always shops or was it houses?
I don't know where to start looking, so any suggestions would be hugely appreciated (and any old photos too)
Many thanks in advance
xx

Hi... I don't know whether anyone can help but I'm looking for someone who might be able to talk to me about any of the following - Do you commute a long way to work? Do you work from home? Have you given up a high powered job to move to live in Warminster? Why did you want to move here - what were the benefits?
If you can help in any way please feel free to contact me on my email I'm in Warminster on January 31st... Thanks!

My partner & I are volunteers for First Response. He's a Responder, I'm training to be one and helping to fundraise. Basically, we provide additional cover for medical 999 calls all over Wiltshire and can be seen lurking in ambulance cars ready to respond should the full-time crews be tied up elsewhere. We live in Warminster and hope to be soon setting up as Community Responders as well, so we'll be on call ready to respond to calls to anyone having a heart or asthma attack within a few minutes drive of our house 24/7.
